Bath time

I think last night may have been a defining moment for me as a father. Natalie was at Wal-Mart getting things for the house and what not. I had the pleasureof putting Jonah to bed. But bath time comes first. In our Detroit home we have a small bath tub for Jonah, a few feet long, and it sits on the counter in the bathroom, at the Pittsburgh home, we have to use the big person bathtub. This scared Jonsie a little bit, when i placed him in the water he wanted to jump out and have me hold him. Thinking quickly, i stripped down, and hopped in the bath with him, and we both took a bath. This is something that I never would have dreamed I would end up doing, but a guys gotta do what a guys gotta do.In teh end Jonah had a fun time in the bath, an di immdiatly tooka shower when he got out, cuz ho knows what he did in that water.

Back and forth

After a nice Purim in which I saw my dad get hammered, Nat Jonah and I, drove seperately to Pittsburgh. Most of teh trip Nat had JOnah, which was nice for me, I listened , through tkns of static, to the NCAA tourny games and made sure that Nat was right ebhind me. The first half the trip was perfect, we didnt stop till we got near cleveland, and Jonah was sleeping, so we didnt have to make extra stops. (Even though he wasnt in my car, we still made teh same stops.) sadly though, he woke up and not in a good mood, after cleveland...so we had to stop at every single rest stop, which added a horrendous 2 hours to the drive. The worst part for me was the final leg...Natalie couldnt take it anymore, so we traded cars, the rain was pouring down, and the tears were flowing from Jonahs eyes.. the only way he would stop screaming is if he was holding my hand...which meant I was driving with my body twisted so my arm could reach over his baby seat, and hold onto his hand. not very comfortable, or safe for that matter...Natalie, who as driving behind me, was wondering why my car was swerving so much, and it was all attempt to keep my sanity. Anyway, we finally made it to our tempo home, and we are getting settled in, its not home, thats for sure, but its livable. gotta get to work,..the boss expects results

back

I would first like to apologize to Mendy, I'm sorry I only blogged on the "loop"
So heres whats new in my Life..I am temporarily living in Pittsuburgh and working..I am living the single life for another day or two..XBOX and movies, amazingly i havent bought beer yet...
heres a story that is totally Min Ha'shamyim....Early in teh day yesterday I mentioned to Gershon, one of my bosses, that I needed a TV for my XBOX, and he told me that he had an XBOX at the office. I said that was cool, and we went on with our day. That evening, as I'm settuing up the XBOX, i noticed that i was missing my power cord, and I was crushed, what would I do in Nowheresville PA with no XBOX, no television and no wife (of course not in that order) but then Hashem helped me remember Gershin and his XBOX..So i called him up and asked if i could borrow his power plug..he said yes, and i got in some good games and watched Dodgeball, which is a funny ass movie.
So far work hasnt been much..but tommorow should be my first busy day..till then have a good one

New Job

sometimes life presents you with a tough decision, and you have to be mature enough to make the right one. For me that day was yesterday, I was finally offered a job with InSight Media. I have been giving a huge responsibilty, Im in charge of running the Detroit branch of teh comapny. On the other hand, I love jerusalem Pizza the people, and the free food, Although I do hate mopping and doing dishes, so I decided to take the marketing job.
