Mrs AP, in hindsight you could have said Heidi Klum and I could have said Anna Kornikova, but that didn't happen

Weird

We took Sammy to a pediatric orthopedic surgeon about his tushy. While we were there we noticed a sign a the garbage can it said something along lines of..Show concern for your fellow ma, please don't throw diapers in the garbage. You brought here, you can take it home with you.

This wasn't a joke, we had to change Sammy, the surgeon had to leave the room, and when left we had to ask teh receptionist for a bag so we can toss the diaper somewhere outside the office.

Ever since Sammy smacked his head on the streets of Meah Sha'arim, things haven't gotten any easier.Since we got home he has had a cold, double ear infection and the stomach flu.

Then the kicker, the other day Nat noticed a huge growth in his butt. she took him to teh Doctor yesterday and they said we ad to go the E.R. to have it drained and cut off.

So we headed to Beaumont at around 6:00 in the evening. After a while the docs took a look, and decided that the surgeon should take a look because he wasn't sure how the thing ( a perianal abscess) was. The surgeon took a peek and they decided that the regular doc could cut it out.

Then there was a long break from people talking to us. I think it was the first day for all these doctors. lots of confusion apparently on what they were going to do with Sammys butt. Then the doc came and told us that everyone wanted to do something different, and then they gave him a shot but t was unmarked, so he tossed it, and they had to draw a new one.

Finally, they got everyone on the same page, gave him a disassociation shot, so he was awake, but in his own world. The pharmacist told us he was "trippin" and they drained his butt.

We got home around 11:00 and now I think everything is OK, they told us to keep it dry, perhaps they are under the impression that he toilet trained. Hopefully the next few weeks will be better for the little guy.
