The results

After his outburst at 8:30 we didn't hear a peep from his room until 2:00, when he came into our room and announced he wanted apple juice. After refusing his request, he climbed into our bed, curled up, using Nat as a pillow and went to sleep. About 20 minutes later, Nat asked if I could take him to his own bed, which I did.

I vaguely remember him coming back to our room around 3ish, and he slept there the rest of the night waking up a little after 8:00, and once again asking for some Juice. This time we gave him the juice.

Having him wake up in the middle of the night and coming to our room isn't an aberration, so I can't include that in this test. The important facts as of day one are that he went to sleep without such a hassle before 8:00 pm and didn't get up for the day until after 8 am.
