Disgusting
I can not believe that a film depicting the human side of suicide bombers could win a Golden Globe. I'm not the most sensitive guy in the world, but this makes me sick.
Why don't we give all bombers prizes, to encourage them in their actions. I wonder if the September 11 guys made a a good documentary, would the Globes give them an award? Maybe even an Oscar. It's one thing if they were given a prize in their own sick and twisted world, but to reward them in an American Award show is wrong.
Shame on whoever decides these things. (Is it wrong to wish irony on the voters, maybe they get blown up by suicide bombers?)

Did you notice that when they mentioned which country the film was made in, they said Palestine. Did you hear there was a Palestine now? Because I haven't heard about it. Somebody should mention that to the Palestinians because they still seem to think they don't have a country of their own. The Hollywood Foreign Press has said otherwise.
It's very interesting to note that the HFP is made up of a majority, if not all, of European voters. We all know where their sentiments lay when it comes to appeasing terrorists and the Arabs. They are making a very vivid point. They want to show their vast "progressive" nature. The winners of the movie categories were people who played in or directed or whatever in homosexual and trans-sexual movies, and then the pro-palestinian homicide bombers. I think they're just trying to thumb their snobby European noses at us. The worse part about it is that the liberal Hollywood "elites" buy into that crap and try to kiss up to those people.
Do we expect anything better from these people? Should we?

Adina, you're right, but it's still the same point. The HFP was looking to make a statement, and they succeeded very nicely.

I just learned the other day that the voting panel of the Golden Globe awards is around 85 people.
