Ron Artest
I am really surprised by all the love Ron Artest has been getting in the national media. They are treating him like he's Nelson Mandela, punished for a crime he didn't commit (Honestly, how many people are shocked that I used Mandela as an analogy, for that matter how many people are shocked I even know who he is. And no, I didn't look him up) Don't forget this is the man who ran into the stands and attacked a fan, inciting a riot. Whereever you are boo teh crap out of Ron Artest

I saw the video this morning, and it clearly shows Artest punching a fan in the face. The guy should get the suspension. The husband recommended that they do what they do here, in Israel, when stuff like this happens. Either, the home team can't have fans at a certain amount of games, or the home team can't play at home for a certain amount of games. I said that would never happen in the U.S. Until then, suspend him, stop trying to justify his actions and make him out to be some sort of martyr. This is just another example of a culture of no personal responsility. It's always some-one else's fault. Of course, the fan(s) involved should get fined and/or jail time. But, it in no way takes away the responsibility from Artest.
