Lions

The lions should lose today- but being the Lions they will probably will win - there is no positive that can be taken from a win. They would probably lose the number 1 overall pick, it would probably save Millens job, because he'll tell Ford that the team is in the right direction, it just took 16 games for them to implement everything he wanted.

They started the game good, Kitna threw a pick that was returned for a TD on the first play from scrimmage. Only a Dallas penalty, which made no sense, stopped the 'Boys from taking the lead. Then the Lions ripped off 13 straight points. There is still three quarters for them to blow this game.

yea...I guess it's not as bad as when they beat New Orleans last year, on the final play of the season, and dropped from teh 2nd pick to the 7th. This year they dropped to two.

Doesn't matter. They'll find some way to screw the pick up. That's their thing.

Marinelli basically said what I thought Millen would say. This was in todays Freep.

"Coach Rod Marinelli thinks his foundation is starting to set as the Lions head into the off-season.

"That cement, I think, is hardening," Marinelli said. "Hopefully some of that core is here that I like, and now we've got to just start adding to it."

Nothing like going in after a 3-13 season feeling great.

Oh yeah, that cement is hardening... After, they fire the offensive, defensive, and special team coaches. What kind of cement are they using?
