Lions and Thanksgiving

Many people wonder why the Lions play every year on Thanksgiving. They are the only game on TV and every one in the country who watches football must watch the woeful Lions.

I believe the reason the Lions are on Thanksgiving is so that everyone else in the country is thankful that their team isn't as crappy as the Lions. (They have the worst record in the entire NFL since 2001)

G-d, it was aweful. I wasn't expecting them to be that bad. They usually play well on Thanksgiving. Sometimes, that's been the only win they've had. I had to explain to my Israeli in-laws that are not in the know why it's so important for me to watch the Thanksgiving game. The tradition of it, etc. They were wandering it because the Lions were already down 27-0, and I was still watching. I had to call my parents, and we all screamed together how much the Lions sucked. Well... that's one way to bring a family together.

Just so fu*ing pathetic. Man!
