DVD Xtra's

Yesterday I did something that I have never done before.

I went to work (that I have done before) and I watched Wedding Crashers while I worked (also nothing new here). When it was over I still had plenty of work left to do, so I looked at the extras (new) and I saw they had commentary by Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson, I decided to watch the commentary since they are pretty funny. What I didn't realize was that the commentary was basically them watching the movie and commenting on it. At times it was really funny, most of the time they didn't even talk about the movie, just random conversation. It was like watching a movie next to two people that were talking throughout the whole thing and you couldn't hear the movie.

The Tiger game

I took Jonah to the Tigers games yesterday, technically, our seats weren't great. They were somewhere in the upper deck, we never made it that far. Their were a lot of good empty seats closer to the action. So Jonah and I sat behind the visitors dugout about 20-25 rows up.

I did something I have never done before, I got up to leave the game after 9 inning of play, with the game tied at three. I figured it was early April, against K.C. plus it was cold and windy, and most importantly, Jonah was ready to leave. By the time we got out of the building they were Tigers were already down 4-3.

Not-Jonah was jealous that he had to stay in the hospital and missed the game, so he got my hat.

It's a boy!

Nat and I went to the hospital at 530 this morning, and she delivered the newest baby, a little boy, at around 815.

I'll have pictures and more later on, probably tomorrow

D - Day

Today is Nat's due date, and after her visit with the doctor. It doesn't appear that our child will be one of those kids born on the date guessed by the doctors 9 months ago.

I'm going to take a wild guess and say it will be a monday baby

David Stern on Michael Ray Robinson

Just read this quote in the Daily Dime on ESPN.COM..It's David Stern, NBA Commish on Michael Ray Robinson's "anti-Semitic" comments.

"My reaction is that if I were the commissioner [of the CBA], for the inappropriate and insensitive remark he made about gays, I would have suspended him," Stern said by phone Friday.
"But I have no doubt that Micheal Ray is not anti-Semitic. I know that he's not. A number of his children happen to be Jewish. He has a former Jewish wife. He may have exercised very poor judgment [in what he said], but that does not reflect Micheal Ray Richardson's feelings about Jews."
Let me add a little-known fact. The first country Richardson played in after his banishment from the NBA? You guessed it: Sugar had a brief stint in Israel with the tiny club Hapoel Ramat Gan.

Just out of curiosity, what is a "Former Jewish Wife"

Irony

Game 4 of the Tigers Yankees playoff series is on FSN this afternoon, I had the game on (Jonah really likes watching baseball) In the 4th inning, the late Cory Lidle came in to pitch to pitch for the Yankees, his last appearance before he crashed his plane into a building in NYC.

Ironically, the billboard behind the plate, which is seen just over head, was a promo for a Fox TV show called "Till Death"
